May 6th

May 6, 2000 I started the day as a Ms. but I ended it as a Mrs. It's been a great 11 years!

I was very young when I met him and I hope to one day be very old with him.

My sweet little girl gave us our presents a day early after a trip out with her Gram yesterday

She was so sad when I opened the cake yesterday and she saw it had slid while she was holding it in the car.


She hid these flowers outside til Daddy got home from work and then gave them and the card to both of us. She was all proud of herself.

Happy 10!

On that day I promised to love him forever and didn't think there was any way I could love him any more than I did at that moment. But then I watched him as he melted the first time he saw his brand new babies and I fell even more in love with him.

I am not gonna lie and say it is all sparkles and fairy dust all the time around here sure we have our moments but doesn't every one? What matters in the end is that we know how much the other loves us and we can forgive those moments and get on with our lives.

As of now we have no big plans mainly because our lives are consumed with baseball and kids, but it will come.

May 6, 2000 at approximately 6:15 I became a Mrs.

I can't believe we have been married almost an entire decade and have been together for 14 1/2 yrs I really don't feel old enough but I guess I am :)

I ♥ this man with all my heart, sure he gets on my nerves some and sure we have our fights but in the end we know how much the other loves us no matter what.

I looked back at last year's post and loved the pics I shared so I thought I would link you up so you can look back at how much we have aged together over the many years.

Not sure what special plans we have just yet but know that tonight it will be a fun filled night at the little league ballpark, well unless it is rained out AGAIN!

We are planning a get away withOUT kids in the next few weeks it is just a matter of figuring out where we want to go on a tight budget.

This day I Married my Best Friend
The one I Laugh with, Live for, Dream with, Love.

8 yrs ago today Shane and I said "I do". We had met 5 1/2 yrs earlier on Christmas night. We were in high school and I had turned 16 just 2 mths before and he had just turned 18 days before.

Over the many years we have been thru many things together. We have been there for each other thru the good times and the bad times. I hope to have many more good times with him. That day we vowed to love each other forever and I hope that one day when it is time for our children to make those same vows to the one they love they will look back at out marriage as an example of how it should be. He is a wonderful father, husband and provider. I love to watch him spend time with his son teaching him to play baseball and doing all the "boy" stuff with him. Then to see him snuggling with his little girl watching a princess movie.

I went thru some very old and not so old pictures and made a slide show of our years together, it really was funny to look back on it all and to see how much we have changed and grown together.
